P12q vs p12n. The P12Q has an 11 oz "horseshoe" plug magnet and a 1. ring magnet with a 1. I think the P12N is the one I'd want for the alnico tone at loud live band volume. It sounded great, but when I tried it in a loud band setting it got distorted and pretty much lost in the mix. The P12Q isn't much more efficient than the P12R according to Jensen.
